This website is provided for informational purposes. Content here — including blog posts and specialty pages — is educational and does not constitute clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Using the website does not create a therapist–client relationship.

Scope of practice

My Mental Climb provides outpatient psychotherapy services via telehealth to clients physically located in California at the time of session. We're licensed to practice in California only.

We do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in immediate crisis, call or text 988, call 911, or text HOME to 741741.

Client policies

• Cancellation: 48 hours notice required. Lyra clients follow Lyra's 24-hour policy. Late cancellations and no-shows are billed the full session fee. Exceptions made at therapist discretion for genuine emergencies.
• Payment: collected at time of service via credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA.
• Confidentiality: sessions are confidential with the legal exceptions noted in our Privacy Policy.
• Location: you must be physically located in California during any session. Notify your therapist in advance if you will be traveling.

Fees and the No Surprises Act

Self-pay clients are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate before starting services — see the Good Faith Estimate disclosure. Billing terms, insurance, and out-of-network reimbursement details are on the Billing & Insurance page.

Limitation of liability

The website is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding accuracy or availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any damages arising from your use of the website.
